Solar Citizens is a public advocacy group that aims to build public support for renewable energy in Queensland and leverage that support for government funding of renewable energy projects.
Their project, ‘Making Queensland the Sun-powered State’ aims to build support for renewable energy in key areas of north Queensland, which stand to benefit from the renewables transition, including the Renewable Energy Zone and the Townsville Renewable Hydrogen hub.
