Providing authoritative, expert advice to the Australian public on climate change and solutions based on the latest science.

IMPACT AREA: Protection and restoration of the environment

The Climate Council is Australia’s leading climate change communications organisation. They’re made up of some of the country’s leading climate scientists, health, renewable energy and policy experts, as well as a team of staff, and a huge community of volunteers and supporters who power their work.

As an independent voice on climate change, Climate Council gets climate stories into the media, they produce hard-hitting reports, call out misinformation, and promote climate solutions such as the transition to renewables.

The Morris Family Foundation supports the work of the Climate Council in Queensland to change the narrative on climate action and get past the polarisation that has hampered climate action for over a decade. They work to promote climate solutions that are good for both people and planet, ensuring no one is left behind in the current transition.
