Mt Mulligan Lodge awarded one MICHELIN Key
Mt Mulligan Lodge has been awarded one MICHELIN Key in the MICHELIN Guide’s 2026 hotel selection. One Key signifies what the Guide calls “a very special stay”. The MICHELIN Key is the hotel counterpart to a MICHELIN Star for restaurants. Introduced in 2024, it recognises the quality of a guest’s stay as a whole rather than individual elements such as accommodation, food or location.
MICHELIN Guide inspectors assess hotels independently and anonymously, considering five criteria: contribution to the local setting; architecture and interior design; consistency of service, comfort and maintenance; individuality and authenticity; and value in relation to the experience offered. Part of Morris Escapes, Morris Group’s collection of four Queensland lodges, Mt Mulligan Lodge welcomes 28 guests to a 28,000-hectare working cattle station in Far North Queensland.
Guests can explore the property and its history before returning to the lodge, where the team’s care and attention are part of every stay.
